Mailing List thing sorted - my mistake thanks Mal. So is that list just for us to post to and not for subscribers to post back to. Thats what we need I reckon. I can play with that anyways.

Yes good call on teh sidebar links - once content starts getting ready and Zen monster has subsided. I will go through and mnake sidebar list links.

Mailing List link at side is right on, but after you ask to subscribe, it gives you an url pointing to the HSR WP Admin login?

Mal you are a machine man machine. Too golden by half.

Hey one things I notice is that the side links in the HSR site sometimes dissappear and also get contextual (which is good), but they seem to miss needed links. Like in the news section when I check a previous post, all the side links had gone.

Also yo would have seen my email but the Editor monkey seems skewiff as when i edit a page or a post it adds html code into the actual rendered text. Weird ass larry!

Can we lose the PnP section for the HSR store as it is irrelevant cos of the digital downloads and seems a bit silly to have there. Is it eay to edit it out?

Hey Mal if it’s the one I saw before then it’s beautiful Just went there but sandbox is up and tired our ppal details but couldn’t get in. Think I saw it the other day and it looked beautiful - just like you were still in the HSR site.

PayPal

Mal I have had a play with the very limited option for customising the Paypal checkout. Basically black back with white text and a header image. Looks simple and aligned with the basic HSR look anyways. I just put the url to the header text image, but I guess we should make a combined jpg with the image and text on it for this page. Anyways it’s cool that we can at least get it to be a reasonable smooth transaction from our site to Paypal - much better than before.

Shopping Cart Layout

The Shopping Cart Sidebar thingy, seems to spread across and cover the header image? I think last night it even covered the title text. That’s on my lappy set at 1024*768 in Firefox with a maximised browser.

Hidden Shoal Radio Player - Mal I am trying to figure out which player we had in use here that you thought was good. Was it the XSPF one? I got that working on Bin ok, but I remember you thought it was trouble? I think there is a new build which I downloaded, but won’t install untl I get word from you.

Also do you think Fora to Forum and also maybe call the Wiki something instead of Wiki? Something descriptive of what it will be (Music Research, Research, History..hmm better names than those!).

In a few days I will send a mail to the artists list or perhaps individually to get a discreet list of our artists - reason I say that is some of em have dual personalities (Stu and Wayne are Holding Pattern and also Wayne may have his own Release). I guess we should release Glassacre on HS. Thought it may be a bit out of the HS ouvre, but maybe not. Anyway once we have this list we can make a final artists link section on the site. For now I guess pop in the ones we know. Are there issues with changing the link name is there after content has been put up?

Brilliant Idea Mal. And this is the weather for stickies. I am doing a 3 day intensive Biz Plan course this week to help get it done and done right so will be pretty flat out with that and uni, but that should mean i can put my Biz plan in to my Neis peeps this week as 1st draft, get their changes/feedback, do a final draft and chcuk it in. So from next week on I should finally be able to get back to working on the website content and rounding up all the stuff for the label such as finalising contracts and all the rest. So just bear with me this week and I will be in full writing mode after that. If it helps you just put placeholders in for now.

Heya Buddy

I think we just need to make sure that the fron end of the forum is easy to understand and navigate. I remember getting a bit thrown when i first came in and I guess we will have some “bordering on newbie” types using this stuff we should be conscious of it. Maybe we should get Stu to do his design nazi look over and report? Everything is there, just maybe needs some tweaking. Also do we have a help page or sticky for the forum that explaiins some things like Tags etc? Could be a good thing.
