In the “new” listings on the front of thje Store - is there anyway for each product to also list it’s catgeory as other wise we need to put the artists names in the product as opposed to simply the title. No biggy i guess to just put artists name in Title.
“Artists List” Button on Artists release listing should be renamed to something like “Other Releases”
Shall we change the Meta link category on the store to something like “Customers” or similar?

Can we hide the stock amount on the product pages and listing? I know you said it has to be there but I am assuming it doesn;t have to be visible?
Changed “Basis of Product Tax” to Billing instead of shipping as I guess we aint asking for shipping info for digi files. It’s the option under My Store in Config
Date format is US based which kinda makes sense as we have a lot of US customers hopefully. Wonder if we can have a 7/Mar/06 kinda thing. Prolly not 
Hey Mal I just realised we need a traclk listing on each ablums product page. How can we do that? Or is it impossible?
Mal I have changed the default currency to Australian as we need to do this to work out the GST properly as far as I can tell.
I reckon we drop the “Notify me of updates for this album” in the final checkout page as it seems irrelevant. We could have a link to the mailing list if we really wanted something in there? Or is it impossible!
Do you think the shopping cart link onthe sidebar could maybe be a litle clearer or more obvious? It’s the only way to get to your checkout at the mo isn;t it. Would it be poss to have a checkout button anywhere else? I guess we don;t need it, just need to make that a bit bolder or clearer somehow me thinks. What ya reckon?
Done it! Managed to lose the option field for products and even better now the Buy buttons comes up in the category lists so a user can buy straight after clicking on an artists name. Bitchin!
Shit! Correction - wrong. It doesn;t give you the download link then. Only way to do it is to have a single radio link that auto selected (done) and find some way to hide it (as it’s confusing!).
Mal you may have already done this to turn off shipping but just in case I will paste it below

Have popped up the 80 meg zip album. It’s under Holding Pattern. I found an option inthe attributes controller that allows you to select the default option (ie zip download) but I have seen on the forum that it doens;t look like there is a way to turnthat off so you don;t see it. This forum thread though mentions somejone doing a hack so the downlaod option just doesn’t display. Have you seen anything in your css travels where we could do this?
Download tests been fine so far, but will attach the large 80 meg album now and test. I think abou the album and singles thing. Not sure if we all wana go down the itunes route with every track on an album being a single. I think our artists should propose as many singles as they like off their albums and only those can be available for single purchase.
Yep I thought the page stuff would be second layer, but I just thought I would pop bits down as I think of em.
I will test it in IE thouroughly and will also make some gloass black buttons. Will try to get one out today but if not will def do it on weekend. Got doctor visits and tests for baby today.
Oh another thing I though of is some way to have an album with saleable singles like they do on the other music stores. We may have to do it the long way around, but lets just have a think to see if there is some smart way to do it inside Zencart. I am gonna print the manual out today fo exciting reading!
1) Mal I think we can ditch the categories header at the sidebar or change it to artists maybe?
2) We need to work on the product page template and again just minimalise it. I put an url in so the user can go to the artists blog on our site but it opens a new window. Maybe that’s what we want?
