The Australian music label Hidden Shoal Recordings today announced the release of the new Our Man in Eden Hill EP by the Craig Hallsworth-led Australian outfit Tangled Star.

Hidden Shoal Recordings today announced the signing of the American duo Ghost In The Water to its roster of artists.

The label will release the debut album Tooth by Ghost In The Water on 8th April 2008. The first single from Tooth, ‘Clean Sinks and Folded Laundry’, will be released on 28th February, and will feature the bonus B side, ‘How to Draw a Ghost’, also taken from the album. In a first for the label, Hidden Shoal Recordings will offer all new singles for free download up until their respective album release dates.

This Friday, 1st February, Bury the Sound are playing their last live show before disappearing into the studio to commence work on their eagerly awaited debut album. They’re playing at 303 High St, Northcote with Sundown and/or Last Stand, The Imagists and Tim Chesley. Doors open at 8pm and entry is $5.

January 14th

The HaCat cells were transported to the NRI at 11.00am stated scanning by 11.30am.
The mica substrate was completed coated with cells and prepared to be place in the Atomic force microscope . An area of 30microns was taken for the first series to be scanned. A series of images were taken, each image takes 10minutes to scan.

Scans were taken over a period of one hour.

The new sterile substrates were taken to SymbioticA to be sterilised. The substrates were large enough to be completely sealed by the rubber ring that makes the sample watertight for the Atomic Force Microscope.

Two glass substrates are being autoclaving to prepare them for the cells by which them. They need to be then coated with extra cellular matrix so the cells can adhere to the substrates.

The new skin cell line are called HaCat
